Promoting the Trades is not often seen at career fairs
However, at Girard College, a prep-school for Grades 1 through 12, a variety of choices were represented at the Girard Speed Career Day event. The event was held at the school in March in Philadelphia, PA.

Shannon Global Energy recognizes that investments in educating our youth opens up wider possibilities for their future endeavors. Our own Mike Makofsky, Sales Development Manager presented on Steam Energy and the tech, production and installation jobs in the energy efficiency and sustainability sector.
The Format
Groups of students moved from presenter to presenter every 20 minutes, learning about each company and the types of careers they represented. Over 60 students participated.
